/ ABOUT
The 2024 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Problem Solving Clinic (Clinic) will be held May 7-9, 2024 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, MO. The Clinic will be conducted in a hybrid format with the option for attendees to participate virtually if they do not attend in-person.
Each session of the 2024 Clinic will highlight ways to reduce administrative burden of Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery and Mitigation funds (CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT). The Clinic will give CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT recipients, as well as select subrecipients, the opportunity to network and learn about:

-
CDBG-DR specific rules and requirements
-
Requirements of Federal Register Notices, including the Consolidated Notice, applicable to grantee allocations
-
Crosscutting requirements
-
Best practices
Who Should Attend?
This training is for CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grantees and their subrecipients’ staff only. Grantees are encouraged to include staff with a range of experience administering CDBG-DR funds to maximize the impact of this year’s Clinic.
All registrations need to be reviewed and approved by the Registrar before registration is accepted to confirm eligibility to attend. Select members of subrecipients or partner organizations such as housing counseling organizations or public housing authorities may attend based on approval by the grantee.
